Adam Lambert For Your Entertainment

I know I am sure you heard the backlash of my Adams performance on Sunday night. Yes , my jaw dropped to the ground too. Little much and his voice was not the best. So i had a little chat with him and gave him a spanking, lol . And told him not to do that again. he has to good of a voice to be over taken by his sexual actions. Other singers, rap artists do that stuff because they really don't have a great voice so they need to do other things to make up for it. Adam does not need to do that. Sure dance and shake your hips, but I am not interested in any sexual acts you have unless it is with me... JUST KIDDING LADIES! i was so looking forward to that performance on the AMAS. Very disappointed. Hopefully tomorrow when he is on THE EARLY SHOW and David Letterman he can make it up to us and just sing... I am giving him a second chance. Won't you???

After posting my home on "Rate my Space" and hearing the good the bad and the ugly comments , i did a major accessories redo and take away. This was huge for me. Cause i love lots of things. But it was getting to much. I called my girlfriend to tell her my garage was full of stuff to take to the GOODWILL but she could come by and take a look to see if she wanted anything. . I wish i took a picture of how much stuff was there. And i also wish I had a picture of her "loading all of it " did i say ALL OF IT? Yes All of it. She just drove right over right after i called and when she pulled up i said" take whatever." And all of a sudden she just started loading. "I am taking it all" and i will go thru it all at home and give the rest to the thrift store." she said to me... I was a little shocked but relieved i did not have to make the trip myself. She has a Chevy Tahoe we filled the whole thing up . It was hilarious . But i also felt a little embarrassed how much stuff i had... her on the other hand can pretty much redo her house. She got lucky 3 years ago when i did this . Her thought is if she waits long enough for me to change my look , then she benefits . She is right. What she hasnt figured out is to invite me over so i can see what she does with the stuff. I usually have to invite myself. lol... Her husband will probably pass out when she tells him he has to help her unload.... lol... By the way i am perfectly aware that she scored big time and i am a shopaholic. This new year my goal is to not buy so much ACCESSORIES... Did i mention i am selling a table and rug on Craiglist ? Was not giving those away for free cause i wanta round rug now and need the money.. The rug is my Rooster Rug in my Dining room and the Mackenzie Childs Inspired stripe sofa table .Let me know or check it on on Craiglist if interested. Do u ever just become so obsessed with something , you just keep changing and changing it? I have that issue. I have changed my master bedroom so many times this year, when will it stop....
Taking back bedding, buying new, then there is pillows, make some, buy some. And Drapes. God help me ..... I need someone from HORCHOW to come and do my bedroom, better yet where is Candice from DIVINE DESIGN? And really how do u organize the pillows? like the pictures, they never look the same.... I am very creative/ thrifty i think.. I took (supposedly) Christmas ribbon and hot glued to my lampshades and the drapes. And took the swags from downstairs and took the front of the bedskirt off and made them into pillows. And added crystals bobeches and chains to chandy, from the christmas ornament section. And I used rebate bucks and coupons for the bedding. And took the chair from down stairs and bought a slip cover for under $30.00. Love Overstock. com specially when they also gave me a 10% off coupon too.. And when i bought paint for the room." Dutch Boy , RAINY SEASON "Gallons were on sale and plus i got $30.00 in rebate money back. Did i mention i got the black damask King bedding at TUESDAY MORNING for 70% off retail price... Looked on the internet and it was going for more. My realy favorite is the velvet coverlet( ok polyester) i just got. so soft... came with the pillow shams too.. Most times u have to buy them separate. And it is reversible too. wanted one with a scallop bottom. Square was to modern. This is the 3 rd coverlet i have exchanged. This is a keeper.. Unless i find it somewhere else for even cheaper. lol. Nah, great deal on it. Love Fred Meyer too... oh and this shiney blueish and black velvet trimmed pillows, got those at KMART.... ON sale.....13.00 each. Speaking of Kmart. Have u checked out the Jacolyn Smith Furniture? (on line only.) Some really cute chairs and couches, you would be shocked. I was.... well that is all for today , wanted to share my deals....

Using Ornaments for other then Christmas!

Now that Christmas stuff is all out at the stores , i have found some things to do with it instead of just for Christmas! After I added Christmas ribbon ( supposedly) to doll up the lampshades..I also added the black trim that i hot glued on to make it pop more... Wire ribbon is much better to work with and to get a good bow that stays. I made add the rest of the ribbon i have left on a pillow or a slipcover, u just never know with me...lol...

Before

Bought crystal strands and bobeches and blue crystals that are supposed to go on your trees and instead i dressed up the chandy in our bedroom. I love when they come out with crystals for the trees cause i always end up using them for my chandys instead. And they are usually inexpensive. I love Crystals on chandeliers , they are so pretty to look at. And adding them can be so much cheaper then buying a chandy with them already...

I was eyeing this chest for awhile . Waiting for the price to go down. And waiting. Finally it did and they were having an additional 15Percent off. But there were no knobs . I asked the lady and she said she had the knobs but she needed longer screws. I noticed the clock knobs she was selling too and thought lets try these. Loved them and she gave them to me for free of course.
The dresser is a little banged up but i can take my paint pen and touch it up if i want. But I kinda like the way it is.... It reminds me of Mackenzie Childs. Something they would design but cost triple what i paid for this. I love anything Mackenzie but can't afford any of there furniture... lol. So this will do and i love it. it just peeks out at me and makes me smile...( ok, so little things like that make me happy, lol)

Revamped Family room!

First just let me praise the hubs for vacuuming today! ( even though i just did it 2 days ago.) Very happy to wake up and he is vacuuming away so i had to take a picture of this GLORIOUS event! lol! Anyways i have been shopping around our house and taking one thing or another into different rooms. Been doing it for over a week now. And one of the rooms was our Family room. I took the mirror from our living room and put it above the fireplace. I left the wrought iron piece that was already on the wall and put the mirror over it to look like it was part of the mirror. I LIKE IT!

Brought my favorite picture of the bunnies from the dining room and put it next to the fireplace. I love this picture and i am happy to be able to sit there and admire it more. Then i painted the Rooster picture frame on the other side black with some Rub on gold. ( love that stuff) Grabbed 2 plates and hung them.

Took the Yellow Rooster pillows from living room and brought them to family room. Much better...

Oh and then got some beaded trim and hot glued them to the lamps for some added oomph!! and brought the Rooster chest from dining room and scooted it under buffet.
I am really happy with this room now. After 5 years of living here i am finally satisfied with this room.. ( do i dare say that?.lol) I am definitely a French Country gal. With a bit of Whimsical. Even though i admire Traditional and cottagey looks i have to have color.....Tried the all white thing that is popular now but nah not in my house....
