Done with Slipcovers!

I have felt myself drawn back to the Frenchy, Cottagey,  Colorful  , home!  Not like I left it very much. But I was trying different looks,editing , ect. I would see a look on someone elses blog . Then think maybe I should change my look. But NAH.... Even though the grey ,whites decor blogs are so popular now.  And everyone is painting their furniture those colors or some kind of nest egg blue/grey.  Me , I am just doing my thang.  color, color. Blacks, reds,yellows. The colors that make me happy. The colors I want in my home....

Oh this was supposed to be about slipcovers.......lol. Well , I finally finished the bench one. Mixing material i had left. Still pondering if I should foam pad it..??? Made all the chair covers 2 alike, then the other to match the bench cover...( Okay truth be told, I ran out of Black and white trim that i used on the others. And I can't remember where I bought it.:) .Sewed my LOVE letters together so they would stay.  Now off to do something with my sewing room....

  5. Keep doing your thang, girl, cause what you do is so cute and fun! I painted my kitchen tan a few months ago and am hating it. It looks so plain! Not sure if I'll repaint or just try to use colorful furniture, fabric, and accessories. I love looking through your posts and getting ideas!

  8. Good for you!! I am so glad to find a "colorful" blog. I am tired of chippy and white and burlap and robin egg blue and all of that stuff!! I love red and yellow, and putting it with your black is especially beautiful!!
