Life is just slipping by!

Yes I am still decorating the kitchen eating area.  I just made 2 slipcovers for the back of the chairs.

Oops , sideways! I just have to make 1 more and then conquer the bench!

I found like 3 yards of this red floral material at the Goodwill.  It is like a denim feel. Trim from Joannes and checkered I had.  I did not cover the seats because i have messy boys in the house that somehow like to wipe their hands on the  sides of the chairs. :)

I also added some glass canisters full of texture and color for the table top! For fun!  Cute straws and cupcake cups. Oh  and pears.   I just love the yellow of the pears.  My kitchen makes me happy! Happy colors. I dont think I will ever get over black and white , red and yellow, roosters and checks. I still love black and white checkered kitchen floors no matter the trend. My fantasy kitchen always has those floors. And black solid color  granite counter tops, white cabinets with a few windows with a white wood trim design trim and  now my new vision is a RED REFRIGERATOR and STOVE. Old fashioned looking but updated of course.  Oh  and a really pretty crystal chandy above the island. Which the island would be painted black or red aged color. OH SOMEDAY:::))))

ooh, KEEPING IT REAL PEOPLE!  i do sweep the floor! ( forgot to put the broom away)and hide the garbage bag.
